Remanufacturing process in detail

All received old core is sorted and graded. We only recycle components that pass our strict initial inspection criteria. All other non-conforming components are scrapped and recycled where possible.

The old core is disassembled, inspected further (for internal defects and problems) and once passed is routed to our surface treatment section for preparation.

Castings are powder blasted, cleaned and then have either a paint layer applied or coated in a chemical protective solution

All prepared bodies and castings are passed via another quality assurance inspection, ensuring only suitable units enter production.

Bearings, seals, hardware and other critical components are always replaced with new parts, regardless of condition.

Critical dimensions are checked against OE specifications

Units are assembled by our highly trained technicians.

Intensive testing is performed on the newly built units and function checks are performed in accordance with OE guidelines

Final end of line inspection is performed, before product labelling and packaging.
