Component / Caliper Assembly Technician

Duties to include:

  • Receive parts
  • Check build instructions/drawings
  • Carry out modifications / remanufacturing as necessary
  • Test modified products
  • Production of despatch notes, pick lists and other relevant paperwork (workshop job sheets)
  • Notify completion of works orders
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • Working to ISO9001 Quality Procedures
  • Communicate daily in a professional manner with colleagues, managers, supervisors, and suppliers
  • Read engineering drawings, technical specifications and build instructions to interpret requirements
  • Responsible for making certain all Workshop department equipment, machines and tools are in good working order, maintained and are safe to use before carrying out work
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • The safe loading/ handling/unloading of all material
  • Promote ideas for improvement and development of the Workshop
  • Perform any reasonable request from Management
  • Any other duties as required
